BRICS cooperation on Green Building takes a step forward at the BRICS Urbanisation Forum. The forum itself included representatives at Ministerial level for construction and housing, where ‘sustainability’ seemed to appear in every sentence.
The break out session on Green Building that I spoke at was very well attended and discussed the drivers, trends and policies currently viewed as key in BRICS countries. The overall concensus was that there is a huge potential to work together as the BRICS countries share broadly the same challenges.
