RuGBC member Sayan Group hosted Somar Farfur, Park Management Expert, Ministry of Local Government and Environment, Syrian Arab Republic. Arranged by RuGBC, Sayan Group’s founder Alexey Sayanov presented his green roof laboratory, which includes many solutions including zero maintenance and rooftop urban gardening but most important – the technical solutions manufactured by Sayan Group. The group was assisted by Iraqi PhD student Aldaibe Ahmed who was kindly recommended by RUDN partners.
In Damascus, following years of destruction and war, green roof’s are not common, however Mr Farfur is very keen on bringing this Technolgy to the country
